Ricardo Vaz Monteiro was the former CEO of the first ICANN accredited Registrar in Latin America, Nomer.com, and now is the COO of Siter.com.

Monteiro is active in providing comments on the different issues discussed within the ICANN public forum. He also participates in ICANN Meetings. In 2005, he expressed his support for the .xxx gTLD proposal.[1] He an applicant for the ICANN Fellowship Program during the ICANN 29 Meeting in San Juan Puerto Rico in 2007.[2]
