Targeted Interest Groups

With the adoption of establishing groups on the wiki, Wiki participants will be able to easily gravitate to the areas of the wiki that are most productive for them. Targeted Interest Groups will be easy to access as they are ICANNWiki's top level of tab navigation.

Community Group

The Community Targeted Interest Group will house information for the whole ICANNWiki "Community".

Programs & Surveys Group

The Programs & Surveys Targeted Interest Group will contain information on organization specific programs and surveys. This section is not limited to ICANNWiki, but to all organizations within the ICANNWiki "Community".

Policy & Governance Group

The Policy & Governance Targeted Interest Group is a classic example of the true definition of a Targeted Interest Group. The Policy & Governance Group provides an area whereby organizations can house their development work regarding policy or Internet governance, thus allowing for greater visibility and participation in policy development.

Domainers Group

The Domainers Targeted Interest Group is another classic illustration of the value of a Targeted Interest Group. The Domainers group caters to people and organizations that are influenced by or cater to the domainer community. This can include:

Domainers
Parking Companies
Registrars
Registries

As time progresses I can see where, as this section grows, further Targeted Interest Groups could be established, such as a Targeted Interest Group specifically for Registrars.

Sponsors will have a place where they cam provide domainers with access to their applications.
